Most recently known for his role in Dead & Company, helping carry forward the Grateful Dead legacy for a new generation. Oteil tours extensively with Oteil & Friends, and is also a member of The Toy Factory Project, honoring the legacy of guitarist Toy Caldwell. A founding member of the early ’90s Southern jazz-fusion group Col. Bruce Hampton & the Aquarium Rescue Unit, Oteil later became the longest-tenured bassist in the history of The Allman Brothers Band.
