23-year-old rapper Mike Osei was born in Ghana, West Africa, raised in Bronx, NY, and began his musical career as a sophomore at Harvard University. After building local buzz on campus through a string of live shows alongside longtime collaborator Lincoln, he cofounded the independent collective and imprint Maybe There's Life with Lincoln and fellow NY artist Tobias Defoe, earning opening spots for Vic Mensa, Bazzi, and Kiiara along the way. Mike continues to work closely with Maybe There's Life based in Harlem, NY.
