The Rumble, featuring seven GRAMMY-nominated musicians, brings together iconic New Orleans funk with electrifying brass and vibrant carnival visuals. Led by Second Chief Joseph Boudreaux Jr. of the Golden Eagles, the band includes trumpeter Aurélien Barnes, trombonist José Maize Jr., bassist TJ Norris, and more. Their debut album, Live at the Maple Leaf, was GRAMMY-nominated for Best Regional Roots Album 2024. The Rumble’s live performances are a dynamic blend of rich sound, vibrant color, and call-and-response chants that honor the traditions of the Wild Magnolias and Golden Eagles. “The Rumble is more than a band, it’s an immersive experience into New Orleans culture,” pushing forward the legacy of Mardi Gras Indians for a new generation.
