Table reservations from 6pm | Live Music: 9pm “Simply Dan... They recreate so accurately the sound and feel of Steely Dan, they transport anyone listening back in time to Steely Dan in their prime. Top-notch musicians that nail it perfectly.” - Noel Nevin, The Cavern London Not every band can carry off Steely Dan. The songs are too sharp, the grooves too exacting and the writing too full of left turns. Simply Dan can, and that is what makes this show such a pleasure. This eleven-piece band is made up of seasoned musicians who understand that the brilliance of Steely Dan lies in the balance: polished but never sterile, intricate but always swinging. Drawing on the music of Walter Becker and Donald Fagen, they bring real finesse to a catalogue where jazz harmony, R&B pulse and immaculate arrangement all have to sit in exactly the right place. The set reaches across the great run of 1970s albums, from "Can’t Buy a Thrill" and "Pretzel Logic" to "The Royal Scam", "Aja" and "Gaucho"…
