Doors 6:45 PM, Music 7:30 PM - 1 set of music Line-up: Will Hobson - Piano Amy Hollingsworth - Voice Rory Hudson - Double bass About: Talkline represents the musical collaboration between vocalist and vibraphone player Amy Hollingsworth and pianist Will Hobson. Amy and Will began working on original music together in 2021, however their friendship spans over a decade. These years of shared experiences across their formative years into adulthood has led to an output of work that feels both intimate and conversational, which musically blurs the lines between jazz, singer-songwriter and minimalism. Particular influences on Talkline’s sound range from Seafarers and Lucy Rose to Hiatus Kaiyote and Steve Reich. The band will be performing their original music, which has had regular radio support from SWR2 in Germany and BBC Introducing Essex and Cambridgeshire.
