Ezra Beber is a jazz drummer who has been playing music since he was nine years old. Playing the drums and guitar have always served as his outlets for creativity and self expression. Ezra is currently studying jazz drums at NYU, where he has had the opportunity to work with many of his heroes, including Billy Drummond, Lenny White, Martin Wind, Ron McClure, and Manuel Valera. Ezra is dedicated to making his music danceable and swinging. He aims to communicate and tell stories through his drumming, especially through his soloing and the way that he accompanies his band. Ezra’s music is inspired by legendary jazz musicians like Oscar Peterson, Miles Davis, Art Blakey, and Chick Corea.
