Norrie Tago MacIver  Norrie “Tago” MacIver is the lead singer of Skipinnish, one of Scotland’s most popular and dynamic folk bands. Known for his powerful voice, melodic flair, and deep roots in Gaelic tradition, Norrie has brought his signature style to sold-out venues across the UK, including the Barrowlands and Usher Hall. Since joining Skipinnish in 2016, he has released two critically acclaimed albums with the band: The Seventh Wave and Steer by the Stars. Before Skipinnish, Norrie was the lead singer of Mànran, a band that made a striking debut with their single Latha Math, written by Norrie himself. The single sold over 5,000 copies in its first week on iTunes, and in December 2011, Norrie was voted Gaelic Singer of the Year at the MG ALBA Scots Trad Music Awards, where Mànran also won Album of the Year.
