Dead Horse launch their debut album Caught The Nonsense at Paper Dress Vintage on Friday 11 September, with support from Howling Fiends and The Ducks. A chaotic, darkly funny descent into the absurd, Caught The Nonsense is the band’s first full-length release, landing digitally and on 12” vinyl via Sister 9 Recordings. Across 11 tracks, Dead Horse push their jagged post-punk, mutant garage riffs, deranged sax bursts and surreal satire into their most unhinged and complete statement to date. Formed in London by Kevin Lennon, Josh Kemp and Duncan Clark, Dead Horse sit somewhere between OSEES, Warmduscher, Viagra Boys, The Fall and The Cramps, dragging dance-punk grooves, noise-rock tension and absurdist humour into one sweaty, unstable mess. For the launch show, they take over Paper Dress Vintage with Howling Fiends and The Ducks in support.
