Boko Yout: 'GUSTO' In-Store Gig + Signing — live event
We're thrilled to welcome genre-breaking Swedish artist Boko Yout to Rough Trade Berlin for a Live Performance + Signing on Thursday, 18th September 2025 in celebration of his debut album 'GUSTO' which is released on 5th September 2025 via Hoopdiggas Recordings. PLEASE NOTE: Each entry ticket includes a physical copy of 'GUSTO' on either 'hint of purple' vinyl or CD. The CD can be collected on the night of the show. The LP will be released mid-November and can be collected at Rough Trade Berlin from day of release. ------ 'GUSTO' is designed as a sonic therapy program, in which the eccentric Dr. Gusto guides the main character, Mordecai – a semi-fictional alter ego – through encounters with new “shadows” of himself in each song: unspoken fears, inherited burdens, and unresolved inner conflicts. Inspired by Jungian philosophy and vodun traditions from Benin and Togo, 'GUSTO' creates a kaleidoscopic world where spiritual symbolism meets raw emotion and uncompromising creative energy.
