Dogpark — live event
In terms of more contemporary bands, members of Dogpark said they’re influenced by musicians like Paramore, Talking Heads, Flipturn and Mt. Joy. With these influences in mind, Dogpark set out to write and record a series of songs. All five members of the band went to Los Angeles last summer for several weeks, during which they met with music producer John Samuel, who works for SYCO entertainment, which is Simon Cowell’s production company. They wrote and recorded six songs and released five of them on their independent EP.
