I’m Karina, (Ka-rolled R-eena) a New York City based actor, singer, songwriter & dancer. I’m also a student at NYU, taking my talents to the next level and earning my performing arts degree. I was born and raised in Los Angeles, California with a sprinkle of the Midwest, due to my huge Greek family who live in Ohio. We are both a big family in numbers and a big family as far as height is concerned – with the average cousin being over 6 feet tall – I am the tiniest in the family at 5’2”. Which is probably the reason I started singing my heart out at the early age of three, a girl has to be heard! Once I realized the power of my voice, both in keeping my family in line and entertaining them, I couldn’t stop. By five years old, I started acting in children’s theatre groups, playing piano, singing, dancing and at twelve I officially started writing and recording my own music.
