Byker Grave brings two of atmospheric metal's most uncompromising acts to Newcastle University Students' Union. Austrian post-metal outfit Harakiri for the Sky craft sprawling, introspective soundscapes that blur the line between beauty and desolation, while Sunken deliver their own brand of heavy, immersive darkness. This is a rare chance to experience both bands in an intimate venue setting, perfect for those who appreciate metal that prioritizes atmosphere and emotional depth over spectacle. Expect two hours of deeply absorbing performances from artists who've built devoted followings through relentless artistic integrity.
