Ron helped create the Tony award-nominated Broadway musical "Swinging On A Star," based on Johnny Burke's lyrics, and has performed with many vocalists including Julius La Rosa, Judy Collins, and Giacomo Gates.Rhonda Lehman Davenport is a versatile singer with a deep love for jazz and singer-songwriter musical styles. From her early years of nightly listening to Nat King Cole and Judy Garland, her artistic journey initially took hold through dance and vocals. Known for her warm interpretive style, Rhonda has sung for Jackie McLean’s Artist Collective and received an outstanding performance award by several legendary jazz musicians including Sheila Jordan and Billy Taylor.Rhonda and Ron have been performing together since the 1980s and are thrilled to be keeping the jazz tradition alive at Jazz on Main!
