Glimmer (US) — live in Berlin Sunday, 12 July 2026 Formed in the spring of 2023, New York-based grungy shoegazers Glimmer spent their first two years releasing a series of well-received singles (to praise from NPR, Stereogum, BrooklynVegan, and CREEM Magazine), landing on official Spotify playlists, and playing countless live shows in both the US and Europe. Now, with the release of their debut LP, Get Weak, the band has proven that not only can they produce heavy-hitting, hook-filled singles, but that their softer, dreamier soundscapes leave just as much of an impression. Recorded in Brooklyn and mastered by Will Yip (Turnstile, Superheaven), Glimmer’s new album seamlessly transitions from pop-leaning singles like “Dissolve” and “Sorrow Again” to propulsive, fuzzed-out alt-rock anthems (“Been Down”) and hazy, etherial ballads (“Bloom.”) With elements of grunge, shoegaze, and dream pop, the album hits on a certain ‘90s nostalgia while still managing to sound fresh and modern. Get Weak has racked up praise from NPR, Stereogum, VICE, NME, The Line of Best Fit, and more, and has had tracks featured on Spotify playlists like Fresh Finds, All New Rock, and New Noise. Support: The River Speaks is a noisy indie rock trio from Berlin. With Toby on vocals and guitar, Piotr on bass, and Timo on drums, they deliver powerful and melodic songs influenced by Death Cab for Cutie, The National and Pedro the Lion.
