In Heard, Alarm Will Sound intertwines music and storytelling to share how composers convey their personal narratives through music. Notably featured is Tania León's Toque, a composition inspired by the music of the composer's childhood in Havana. The program marks the beginning of a remarkable series curated by León, holder of Carnegie Hall’s 2023–2024 Debs Composer’s Chair.
