Proudly presented by Destroy All Lines, the group will be joined by acclaimed Nu-Bossastar Sabrina Malheiros, who has become one of Brazil’s most distinctive and beloved contemporary voices.Azymuth last made their way down under in 2022, joined by genre-blending Brazilian icon Marcos Valle, where theyperformed to sold-out crowds in Sydney and Melbourne including three back-to-back shows at the Night Cat, plus a veryspecial appearance at WOMADelaide for the festival’s 30th anniversary.The group most notably forged the exhilarating “samba doido” genre in the 1970s - a unique fusion of jazz-funk andsamba that has carved out their reputation as one of Brazil’s most influential bands.
