On her new album, Every Ghost — recorded at Southern Grooves studio in Memphis with her band, The Muleskinners — she confronts addiction, grief, generational trauma, and even herself, and comes through it stronger and at peace. Since signing to John Prine’s Oh Boy Records in 2019, as the independent label’s first new signee in 15 years, Waldon has earned the title of “Kentucky Colonel” — an honor recognizing goodwill ambassadors of Kentucky’s culture and traditions — and a spot in the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum’s 2024 American Currents exhibit, among other accolades. ----------------------------------------- About Candi Jenkins Website | Facebook | Instagram | YouTube | Spotify Candi Jenkins, a 30-year-old singer-songwriter from Fayette County, Kentucky, is making her mark in the country and Americana music scene with an authenticity that reflects the heart of the Bluegrass State. Recently releasing her debut track, “Cheap Entertainment,” she’s already drawing attention after her outstanding performances at SXSW. Candi\'s music, which blends classic country with fresh modern influences, speaks of her connection to her Kentucky roots. Songs like “Forever Thirty” and “God Don’t Care” showcase her raw, genuine approach to songwriting, and her live performances have already earned her a growing following. -----------------------------------------
