Guitarist Eric Zolan, originally from Fairfield, CT, began his career playing local gigs with bassist Steve Clarke. A graduate of William Paterson University, he studied with renowned jazz artists including Mulgrew Miller, Harold Mabern, Bill Charlap, Gene Bertoncini, and Christian McBride. Eric has performed and recorded with musicians such as Winard Harper, Brian Charette, Lucy Yeghiazaryan, Jochen Rückert, and Peter Bernstein, and has appeared at premier New York venues including Smalls, Dizzy’s Club, Lincoln Center, Symphony Space, and Joe’s Pub, as well as internationally. A true genre-bender, his sound blends elements of jazz, blues, pop, rock, and funk into a distinctive style that lingers long after the performance.
