Sir Richard Newton Album Release Party — live event
Sir Richard Newton began as a songwriting duo with Larkin Bogan and Dan Gleason during their time spent performing together on Broadway. Greatly influenced by the great songwriters and slide guitarists of the early 70’s, Dan and Larkin wrote a bag of songs on their guitars and dobros between shows and rehearsals in the stairwells of the Gershwin Theatre. They’re incredibly excited to debut their new EP and have a full length album on the way with the addition of Andy Buslovich on guitar, Alec Bart on keys, Andy Dow on bass, and Shannon Ford on drums. Collectively, members of the group have performed in shows including Wicked, Hair, American Idiot, Book of Mormon, MJ, Tina, Great Comet of 1812, A Bronx Tale, Waitress, Beetlejuice, 1776, Beautiful, BKLYN, Next to Normal, Godspell, Chaplin, and Hands on a Hardbody.
