Dirty Sound Magnet with Gran Moreno and Gatsu

Dirty Sound Magnet and Gran Moreno live at Siberia, New Orleans on Wed, Sep 23, 9:00 PM. Tickets from $18.70. Lineup, start time and tickets on Ckord.

With over 800 shows across Europe, the UK, and Latin America, Dirty Sound Magnet is one of the most electrifying forces in modern rock. Hailing from Switzerland, the trio is renowned for a mesmerizing musical world and intense, unpredictable live performances. Hypnotic stage presence, instrumental mastery, and poetic lyricism—no DSM show is ever the same. Stavros Dzodzos (guitar, vocals), Marco Mottolini (bass), and Maxime Cosandey (drums) formed as teenagers in Fribourg with a "no Plan B" obsession. Their sound channels the Golden Age of Rock—the virtuosity of Led Zeppelin, the power of Black Sabbath and the mysticism of The Doors—while boldly carving new territory. Their music is a high-octane blend of vintage Blues-Rock, intricate Progressive arrangements, and heavy Funk grooves. With psychedelic currents reminiscent of All Them Witches, Tame Impala, and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, they have forged an identity entirely their own. Since the acclaimed DSM-III (2022, Hummus Records), the band has reached new heights: sold-out tours and playing major slots at Hellfest, Fusion, Resurrection Fest, and Burg Herzberg. Their DIY ethic has made them one of Europe’s most successful underground stories. Their fifth studio album, Me and My Shadow, was released on January 30, 2026. Fueled by years on the road, it is their most powerful and focused record to date—the next step in a story that shows no signs of slowing down.
