We gather once again in the hallowed hall of St Giles' Church, Camberwell for our 15th Live at St Giles' show 📅 Saturday 7th November 🕰️ 7pm - 11pm 📍 St Giles’ Church, Camberwell **Alexis Taylor** is one of the UK’s most distinctive singer-songwriters, both individually, and as part of pop giants Hot Chip. A singular voice, he’s built a substantial body of solo work over the years, but his seventh release, Paris In The Spring, feels like his magnum opus. It’s Taylor’s most revealing album yet, peeling back the layers of his psyche to reveal sentiments both specific and universal. The subject matter doesn’t shy away from hard-hitting themes but musically, it’s carefree, brightly-lit and contemporary, drawing on leftfield pop, country, elegant disco-house and Vangelis-inspired soundscapes. **Heavenphetamine** is a Japanese Psych Band from Tokyo. Since 2021 based in Tbilisi and after that nowhere. Influenced by 60-70’s psychedelic rock, 80’s Post Punk and Acid house mainly but is able to feel the Japanese musical element as spice like “wasabi”. DJ support on the night comes from the legendary **Mixmaster Morris**, the godfather of ambient!
