Two books, two tracks, one person. First Five invites artists, innovators and cultural leaders to share the stories behind five things that have shaped them. Yomi Ṣode is joined by founder of TreasureTress and a leading voice in beauty, business and culture Jamelia Donaldson. Yomi and Jamelia will explore the influences behind her entrepreneurial vision, sharing the books that have grounded her, the tracks that powered her forward and the inspirations that helped her build a community first brand that changed the landscape. With DJ Conrad Kira curating the soundtrack and joining the discussion, expect a night full of insight, ambition and the creative spark that defines Jamelia’s work. The Elgar Room is the Royal Albert Hall’s versatile contemporary performance space. It's steeped in history and a great way to enjoy live entertainment at the Hall beyond the main stage.
