Rolling Stone says she writes and sings with the conviction of someone whos spent night after night on the front porch, the Alleghany Mountains in the foreground, spinning details of the days hardships into music.Josh Oliver is a multi-instrumentalist, singer, and songwriter from east Tennessee. He has spent the past decade touring with Watchhouse (formerly Mandolin Orange), and has recorded with Rachel Baiman, Andrew Marlin, Tyler Childers, among others.Both influenced by life in the Appalachian mountains and the intersections of traditional and modern folk music, Josh and Alexa craft a musical experience centered around haunting harmonies, spellbinding melodies and storytelling lyrics.
