Pozi are a South London trio - Toby Burroughs (drums/vocals), Rosa Brook (violin/vocals) and Frank Lindsay (bass/vocals) - making tense, propulsive indie pop that strips away guitars in favour of churning violin, tightly wound bass and urgent, tumbling rhythms. Emerging with the politically charged minimalism of PZ1 and evolving through the more expansive, textural world of Smiling Pools, their music balances philosophical weight with wiry energy and dark humour, shifting from direct confrontation to a more ambiguous, impressionistic take on modern anxiety.
