Nitefreak presents HiNDE *3hr Set* — live event on Sep 18, 2026

Nitefreak live at 99 Scott, Brooklyn on Fri, Sep 18, 10:00 PM. Free entry. Lineup, start time and tickets on Ckord.
HiNDE makes its way to Brooklyn as Nitefreak brings the Zimbabwean event series to 99 Scott, joined by DJ Tomer and Samantha. The New York edition marks another international chapter for a project that began in Bulawayo and has since traveled well beyond its original home. Nitefreak founded HiNDE in 2021 at a time when limited bookings and opportunities were making it increasingly difficult for artists in Zimbabwe to find platforms. The series created a space for local DJs and producers working across Afro House and Afro Tech, building its earliest events around the music and community developing in Bulawayo. From there, HiNDE expanded to Harare, including a 2024 event at Queen of Hearts, before reaching audiences outside Zimbabwe. Its international presence grew further through Miami Music Week in 2025 and a sold out showcase at Mystik Mauritius in 2026. HiNDE has also hosted artists including Jazzworx and Thukuthela, connecting its Zimbabwean foundation with names contributing to the wider Afro House and 3 Step scene across Southern Africa. Behind the project is Nitefreak, a Zimbabwean DJ and producer who began making music in 2009. His catalog includes releases through Deep Root Records, Spinnin Deep, Higher Ground, and Insomniac, with support from Black Coffee, Diplo, Shimza, and Keinemusik. His music has accumulated more than four million streams and reached the Top 5 of Beatport's Afro House chart, while tracks including Savior, Gorah, and Kamili have received support across clubs and international radio. Collaboration has also played an important role in his catalog. Nitefreak has worked with Francis Mercier, Magic System, and Amadou and Mariam, connecting contemporary Afro House production with artists from different parts of African music. His track Bolingo Nanga reached beyond the dance floor through its inclusion in the official documentary of UFC champion Francis Ngannou. Joining him at 99 Scott is DJ Tomer, an Israeli born, New York based DJ and producer whose history in the city stretches back to its earlier club era. Inspired by figures including Junior Vasquez and Peter Rauhofer, Tomer went on to open for Rauhofer at ROXY before beginning his production partnership with Ricardo in 2019. Their Afro House releases have received support from Black Coffee, THEMBA, Keinemusik, and Shimza, while Tomer has performed for audiences around the world. With Samantha completing the bill, HiNDE at 99 Scott brings together the series' Zimbabwean beginnings and its growing international presence for a full night in Brooklyn. Nitefreak leads the event with an extended set, giving him the space to explore the deeper, melodic, and percussion focused sides of his catalog while introducing New York to the broader world behind HiNDE.
