This will be the band's "coming home" show from the west coast tour - come out and welcome them home! Evan Wallace & Stephen Castillo (acoustic duo): Evan Wallace (of Evan Wallace and the Death & Texas Band) was born and raised in the oldest town in Texas—that’s Nacogdoches, if you’re wondering—where hearing country music was as common as a farmer stepping in a cow patty. You might think Texas is about as far away from the Pacific Northwest as a convent is from a brothel, but even in rural East Texas, Evan grew up hearing as much Nirvana and Pearl Jam on the radio as he did George Strait, Garth Brooks, and Willie Nelson. Stephen Castillo (https://www.thewesternexpress.band/presskit) is the lead singer, songwriter, and creative director of the Western Express. His artistry and aesthetic draw inspiration from a wide range of musical genres, movies, history, and even political theory. More than anything, his creativity is fueled by life experiences: falling in love, broken hearts, honky tonkin’, mental illness, and the desert mountains of West Texas.
