Olivia O. is the solo Word of Olive (Olivia) Osby. She is the lead singer of the band Lowertown. All work to date has been written, played, recorded, and produced by her on her laptop. Dead Calm is one of the 15+ projects by Irish artist Liam Mc Cay, who also goes by ‘sign crushes motorist’ and ‘Take Care’. Arguably his best work, Dead Calm is an upbeat yet melancholy project, consisting mainly of jangly acoustic guitars, earnestly sung vocals, and lyrics that focus around the themes of heartbreak and love. Liam is a 19 year old musician from Donegal, Ireland, who currently lives in Los Angeles. Forever growing and evolving his style, the album ‘Accept’, by Dead Calm is a memorable milestone in his work, and one that will prove to be important in years to come.
