Using her harp as a musical passport, Kibbey synthesizes the past with the vanguard of the new, via her signature keyboard transcriptions, newly-commissioned works from the record, then inviting two special guests on stage (NY Gypsy All-Star Clarinetist Ismail Lumanovski and Latin-Grammy winning percussionist Samuel Torres) as she acts as bandleader in the live launch of a new touring project celebrating today's Nuevo Latino luminaries. Through it all, Kibbey is sending a musical love letter to just a few of the international communities in New York City, who've expanded her life – at and away from the harp. With works by: J.S.
