Dr. Boat is a newly emerging 4-piece Funk inspired Rock N' Roll band. Inspired by sounds and aesthetics from various artists across multiple genres, Dr.Boat brings a fresh new experience and mentality to a once thought dead movement with an interactive and crowd engaging show. Amenaboze thralls in tortured beauty. She falls euphoniously on the ears of her listeners in raspy waves. Her lyrics remain witty and unsparing- dousing herself in sorrow-driven narratives. Through melodic guitars, groovy bass lines and punchy drums she reinforces her unconventional “pain is love” view of the world. Natalie Asport is an alt-rock singer-songwriter currently based out of New York City. She got her start performing at the now closed NYC Sidewalk Cafe, famously known for its Open Mic and Anti-folk scene. The calibrated artist takes in and blends many different aspects of art, creativity, life experiences, and storytelling. Along with her music, Asport is a visual artist, game developer, and activist. In March 2020, while she waited until she was able to perform again, Asport began vigorously working in her home recording studio in Orlando, FL on a solo album that would summarize the life and world-altering events that took place in 2020. In 2021, she released her first single “Quarantine Song (2 Weeks Self-Quarantine)”. Her first full-length album, “QuaranTUNES” released January 2022 and is a commentary on the social, cultural, and political atmosphere during the pandemic.
