Tino Drima is the project of Gregory DiMartino, a multi-instrumentalist based in Los Angeles, CA. After beginnings in the indie-rock world of San Francisco, Tino shifted focus to studying the tight pop songwriting of the 50s and 60s, writing tunes with themes of longing, loss & unrequited love featuring lush arrangements drawing from the scores & soundtracks of the Italian horror and crime films he grew up watching. Supported by an all star band of top local talent, Tino has spent recent years performing his unique brand of underground pop music to rooms of devoted fans and musicians alike. The band’s virtuosic musicality and Tino’s sultry crooning over colorful chords and thundering rhythms has something for everybody, showcasing a dynamic understanding of the craft. A recent collaboration with legend Michael McDonald caught the attention of critics around the globe cementing Tino as an artist now on the world stage, making some of the most compelling music of the decade.
