Folk-rock singer-songwriter Calista Garcia delivers flairs of Latin, blues, roots and pop, all tied together with both introspective and “philosophizing” lyricism. Her distinctive, expressive style and musical ingenuity brings Calista to where she is today — having just released her newest single “Flowers in My Hair”, the fourth from an album entitled Confession, forthcoming in May 2023. The new sonically diverse album, recorded at Plyrz Studios and produced by GRAMMY Award-winning producer Jim Scott in collaboration with Calista and GRAMMY Award-winning producer, Davíd Garza, showcases a “new classic” style — with a fresh, modern twist that hearkens back to the ‘70s era — drawing inspiration from legends such as Fleetwood Mac, Tom Petty, Paul Simon and Elton John. 
Calista released her second EP called A Beautiful World on October 29 ,2021, also mixed by GRAMMY Award-winning producer, Jim Scott in his vintage-equipped LA studio. This record is a follow-on to her debut collection Wild Woman, released in April 2019 to much critical acclaim, garnering a nomination for “Best Roots/Country EP” in the 2020 Independent Music Awards. The project has also won multiple nominations and awards from International Acoustic Music Awards (IAMA), the International Songwriting Competition (ISC) and the Mid-Atlantic Songwriting Contest (MASC).
