The Frank LoCrasto Xotica Hour 7PM Since he was a landlocked Dallas, Texas kid, beach culture has held a tropical mystique for pianist/composer Frank LoCrasto. Family trips documented by camcorder videos, featuring slinky jazz-fusion soundtracks are etched in the Brooklyn-based artist’s memory. In his mind, there will always be a fantasyland replete with wicker furniture, pristine beaches, and the smell of vanilla-scented suntan lotion. Roman Angelos Roman Angelos is the project of guitarist/producer Rich Bennett, developed as a vehicle to explore the library recordings of the 60’s and 70s, bossa nova, and exotica. Dreamy and wistful, this is the sound of a jazz combo channeled through synths and ambient guitars.
