The Devil Said Jump is a folk band from Chicago. The project of Emily Franke and Megan Loveless, the pair of songwriters are making room for queer stories through their gut-wrenching harmonies and vulnerable honesty. Inspired by artists like MUNA, Loretta Lynn, and the Avett Brothers, the duo blends folk, rock, and country sounds into their own sort of sad living room pop. A collection of their demos “Renaissance Man” is out everywhere now and their first studio album is expected by the end of 2024.
