Brooklyn-based multi-instrumentalist and composer Dana Lyn has collaborated with Stew, Ethan Hawke, Vincent D’Onofrio, Heather Christian, Susan McKeown, Mick Moloney, Taylor Mac, Brooklyn Rider, and the Apple Hill String Quartet. One of her favorite things to do is to write music for her friends and then play that music with them at Barbes.Guitarist Kyle Sanna’s diverse musical practice includes composition, improvisation, the recording studio, live coding, and the traditional music of Ireland. He performs regularly with Kinan Azmeh, Maeve Gilchrist, Seamus Egan, and Martin Hayes. WNYC’s New Sounds and Sound Check host John Schaefer called his music “unconventionally beautiful.”
