In 2019, pianist/instrumentalist James Andreacchi and vocalist Stephen Knight partnered with singer Ryan Murphy and guitarist Ian Brady to form Home by 7, a Manhattan-based group specializing in a sound that fuses rap, jazz, rock, and pop into a smooth blend of hard bass lines, intricate piano, and percussive verses. Bringing onboard drummer Pete Taggart and bassist Chris Finelli in 2024 to complete the sound, Home by 7 is now actively gigging across Manhattan and Brooklyn venues in 2025 to prompt their new EP “Tabletops” being released in April of this year.
