Hawktagon — live event
Hawktagon began in a 1999 GMC Jimmy, with Bobby Hawk and Paige Butz bonding over a dusty Shania Twain record. The two were strangers that left New York City during the pandemic and ended up in the same easygoing Florida town. Rob came from a diverse musical background of jazz, bluegrass and pop. Paige came from a career in musical theatre and a love of folk and '80s music. They combined their musical histories to create a unique sound rooted in a mutual appreciation for rock and folk music, with songwriting that considers the emotional complexities people encounter throughout their lives. Their music draws inspiration from Fleetwood Mac, Joni Mitchell, and Alison Krauss.
