John Newhall Band, Sam Levine & friends, Sidney Amos, and special guests — live event

New York based rising artist John Newhall has already made significant strides in his music career. In November 2023, he committed to his musical ambition by releasing a series of singles. After thousands of streams and numerous live performances, Newhall recognized that he was navigating this journey alone. In May 2024, he enlisted old friend Joe O’Brien to play percussion at his acoustic gigs. O’Brien, an eclectic drummer, infused his unique style into the music, enhancing Newhall's sound. As they collaborated, they realized their potential was greater together, as both found their life's meaning in music. Soon, they welcomed rock guitar virtuoso Sean Rogers and monster bassist Marco Salazar, who contributes to their live performances. The music dream was now being chased together. In recognition of their collaborative spirit and desire to maintain the momentum Newhall had built, the group adopted the name John Newhall Band. Since forming, John Newhall Band has performed all around the NY area at venues like Bethel Woods, the historic Woodstock site. They often showcase original compositions crafted by Newhall, O’Brien, and Rogers. All of their unique influences produce a heavy, forward sound unlike anything else. Looking ahead, the band aims to release more music and expand their influence in the music scene. Follow along as these twenty-somethings chase a dream and give it a real, solid college try.
