ave.noelle is not a pop star. they are simply putting thoughts on a page from lived experience, and conveying feeling through harmony and rhythm. for ave.noelle, songs are a portal through which we can access our humanity and get in touch with our lightest and deepest emotions. silliness, sorrow, longing, joy, nostalgia. ave.noelle’s debut album “once” is an invitation to feel it all. Dorée and Jolee Gordon are artists, musicians, and siblings who learned what music is by playing together since childhood. They are both born and raised in NYC, but have been living on opposite coasts for the past 3 years. When they return to the same place, the music flows with all the new experiences and inspiration they have absorbed from their surroundings. Both multi-instrumentalists and songwriters, they will be playing a set of both of their original songs, playing with longtime friends and bandmates: Inés Hidalgo (bass) and Izzy DeFonseca (drums) This is a special show!
