Lee's work combines lush harmonies and rhythmic vitality with a distinctly American voice. The concert concludes with the beloved music of Grieg's Pee Gynt Suite, whose vivid scenes - from "Morning Mood" to "In the Hall of the Mountain King" - evoke drama, beauty, and folklore.
