Stuart Argabright founder of Dominatrix, Ike Yard, & Black Rain returns to Pianos and Stereo Mandrax after appearing as Stuart & The Spiral for the December Martin Rev party. Stuart, Oliver Chapoy & Heidi Lorenz (Octonomy) bring the new iteration of Dominatrix in to perform the Dominatrix Sleeps Tonight and other new tracks. Bill Converse is a Texas-based musician steering the underground Techno avant-garde. With a decade of output on various labels (Dark Entries, Fit Sound, Tabernacle), and a legendary acumen as a DJ, Bill Converse maintains a low profile, composing bespoke live sets for the rare occasions of his choosing. With a sound redolent of Detroit Techno, his live shows deploy a masterful rhythmic tension and catharsis. Parlor Walls is Alyse Lamb & Chris Mulligan. Chris loves loud drums with arpeggiated bass. Alyse loves colorful samples ruined with guitar feedback. They will be playing their new album Big Crystal Dreams. Alyse would also like to stress they play dancey stuff too. Carlos Souffront is a self-proclaimed Art-Fag from San Francisco who deejays to finance his record buying habit. While he is most well-regarded for his dynamic melange of Acid House and Detroit Techno, his tastes are broader than even his waistline. For his Piano's debut, Carlos is excited to share duties selecting music with Rob and Joe, to reflect the musical diversity of Stereo Mandrax. Roboto’s Gang and Frivaldi spin and select with Carlos Souffront all nite until 1am.
