the amazing Lorenzo Landini is a performer and songwriter who pens fully heartfelt but mildly ironic guitar songs. A classically trained actor, his music career continues his obsession with words in motion. His second full length album Wins Above Replacement (2023) was praised by British publication Various Small Flames, which called his "distinctively inventive lyricism" a "seamless blend of sincerity and playfulness." His second record in as many years, WAR began a sonic departure from the obsessively stark and raw a moving spectacle for compassionate minds (2022), which was recorded over just two days as a series of live takes, mere weeks after the untimely passing of his mother.
