Every Saturday in March, Elena Moon Park presents a different artist. DoYeon Kim (gayageum) and Laura Cocks (flute) Gayageum player DoYeon Kim opens the space with the resonance of her strings. Flutist Laura Cocks enters with breath, shaping the air around it. They move toward one another without dissolving into sameness. Each retains a distinct voice, inhabiting the charged territory of “between,” where convergence and distance unfold in real time. This improvised performance lingers at the threshold where two sonic worlds meet between string and breath, presence and absence.
