“Kings County Swing is a gypsy jazz trio based out of Brooklyn, New York. While the music of Django Reinhardt is the most recognizable sound, hints of western swing, traditional jazz, and the blues bleed through,” reads a description of the band. “The group is made up of Matthew Avedon on guitar, Jordan Hyde on guitar and vocals, and Jay Sanford on double bass. The three have cultivated a mass of songs and arrangements from their weekly stays at Moto in Brooklyn and the Soho Grand Hotel in lower Manhattan, and are always adding and evolving their repertoire.”
