LEAH RANDO (EP RELEASE PARTY), HIDING PLACES, CAROL, SISTER

Leah Rando is a folk/indie/ambient project based in Brooklyn, NY. The pieces are written through experiences of growth, trying to grasp at ways of understanding the universe in all of its forms. Members backing the project are Graham Hall (drums) and Ian Horrocks (bass). The 3 together find a grounded place to connect and explore the ways that feelings can be translated into sound. Leah Rando’s sophomore EP, “at least sometimes” was recorded in a shed by a small pond in upstate New York; Engineered and produced with Rick Spataro of florist. It will be released on March 22nd, 2024. More Than a Goodbye, the debut LP from New York-based artist Carol, started the day that a lot of things ended. Carolyn Flaherty and her band at the time—Ruben Radlauer (drums), Emma Stacher (bass), and Jack Wetmore (guitar)—were driving from New York City to Boston for a show that proved to be their last before the entire world shut down. Hiding Places, a band from Asheville, NC and Athens, GA are based in Brooklyn, NY.
