Swiss-NYC guitarist, singer and songwriter ELIANE AMHERD and Brazilian-NYC guitarist and songwriter ELIANE DELAGE revive the 80s in all its trash and glamour! Evoking memories of first kisses on a souped-up motorcycle, neon-colored leg warmers, mullets…Breaking down Eros, ABBA, Falco and a multitude of keyboard-soaked hits into sleek arrangements featuring their signature touch: An eclectic mix of Jazz, Brazilian, Funk, Blues and African grooves and a loving dose of nostalgia. Eliane Amherd is a genre-busting singer, guitarist and songwriter. Born in Switzerland and based in NYC, she has performed in clubs and festivals from Buenos Aires to Berlin, Bangkok to Beijing, and everywhere in between. Combining Jazz, Latin, African and Brazilian rhythms with funky grooves and retro pop, she creates a sophisticated sound all her own.
