Acclaimed Havana-born pianist, composer, and bandleader Dayramir González launches a highly anticipated North American tour this fall, with performances and master classes from August 16 through October 2, including headlining appearances at the 67th Annual Monterey Jazz Festival, SFJAZZ, Toronto’s Hugh’s Room Live, and a special live performance at Townhouse in Venice! Celebrating over two decades of international acclaim, González continues his mission to spotlight the global legacy of Cuban music with his new album V.I.D.A., released April 2024. Short for Verdad, Independencia, Diversidad y Amor (Truth, Independence, Diversity, and Love), V.I.D.A. explores the dynamic continuum linking Cuba to Africa, Europe, and the Americas through his singular fusion of Afro-Cuban jazz, funk, and classical influences.
