Philadelphia’s finest bring weird and wonderful dance floor sounds to Jupiter Disco on August 29 as Universal Cave and Women in S.T.E.M. join Lauren Murada for her last Summer Residency of the season. Prepare for Balearic belters, house jammers, delicious disco, rock heaters and just about any other freaky cuts that’ll keep the club shaking all night long. Universal Cave has been playing top shelf sounds of the past, present, and future since 2009. Currently helmed by Shawn Ryan, Brian Cassidy, and Alex Tebbs Mitchell, their appreciation for the energy and spirit of a lively dance floor can be heard through their mixes for Beats in Space, NTS, and Dream Chimney, as well as their tracks on labels like Emotional Rescue, Pleasure Of Love, and their own Soft Rock For Hard Times. Women in S.T.E.M. is the tropical fever dream of Philly-based selectors Area Woman and Printemps. Known as the Romy and Michelle of DJing, the duo explores genre-bending tunes that could be vibrant, sweet or grimy but always feel good. No requests allowed, unless it's the business woman special: Sexy.Tasty.Emotional.Music. Lauren Murada is an Australian disco freak who's been making her New York nightlife dreams come true since 2014. Between her infamous party series Love Games, her nine-year tenure as Production Manager at Good Room, and countless nights spent on Brooklyn dance floors, she's acquired a taste for leftfield treasures, sleazy mind-melters and guilty pleasures.________ Jupiter Disco is a safe space for all.
