Jaleel Shaw Quartet — live event
Jaleel Shaw -saxophone Lawrence Fields -piano Dezron Douglas -bass Joe Dyson -drums Alto and soprano saxophonist and bandleader has performed in bands led by of the Roy Haynes, Tom Harrell, Christian McBride, Jason Moran, the Mingus Big Band, Stefon Harris, Roy Hargrove, Jimmy Cobb, and others. He is currently a member of Dave Holland’s New Quartet. Shaw has four albums as a leader - “Perspective”, “Optimum”, The Soundtrack of Things to Come”, and “Echoes”, last three being released on his label “Changu Records”. Each album has received raved reviews from the likes of the New York Times, Downbeat, All About Jazz, and Jazzwise magazine. This upcoming performance will feature Jaleels latest quartet performing music from his upcoming release.
