Nikki and the Barn Boys are a Massachusetts based soulful indie rock band born amidst the pandemic made up of two sets of brothers and the powerful vocals of lead singer, Nikki Childs. They create a raw and emotional sound that leaves the audience wanting more. With influences ranging from classic rock legends to modern alternative innovators they produce a refreshingly new sound. Their music captures the essence of late night adventures, heartbreaks, and the unfiltered intensity of living for your dreams. ___ Paper Driver began at the University of Maryland in late 2022, consisting of Jack Ognisty (vocals, guitar), Diego Mora (guitar), Charlie Butchko (bass), and Andreas Mayr (drums). Starting off by playing cover shows for campus events, the group began writing original music and performing at venues and local festivals in the DC/Baltimore area. Fast forward to August 2024, the quartet has already built a strong discography with their debut album release, “Nobody”. Self-recorded in a Baltimore rowhouse, “Nobody” far exceeds its modest expectations with dynamic instrumentation, thoughtful lyrics, and authenticity.
