Noel McCalla, praised by Blues & Soul Magazine as “one of Britain’s best soul singers”, made his mark with the pioneering jazz-funk outfit Morrissey-Mullen and spent nearly 20 years as lead vocalist with Manfred Mann’s Earth Band.
